Cox Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 I ran my aq2200's bass knob today and it has the clipping indicator and it was going crazy so I turned my gain down(which wasn't even halfway) and from what I understand its my electrical sucking and I know it does because its stock and my battery is about done so my question is what all do I need to do to be able to push around 1300-1400 watts without clipping so bad. I would say start with the big 3 and as big as batt as you can fit under the hood and go from there...maybe down the rd add another batt in the back 1999 grand prix gt kenwood x994 head unit 1/0 big 3 all shok industry single run to the back New mid/highs coming not sure what Soundqubed q2200d at .5 (have) 2 soundqubed hdc3 12s (have) New box to be built.. sealed firing forward (yet to be designed) 200 amp alt not sure exact size or manufactor xs power batts

Tim Lam Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 i have a 2002 camry running a crescendo bc2000d no problem. big 3 upgrade, agm battery under the hood(i have a diehard platinum), 0awg wiring, kinetik 1800 in the trunk. voltage stays nice and high. edit: at this point you dont need a h/o alt, and dont forget to stay away from caps:)
