8ight Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 Those wires are usually from the output section to the speaker terminals because the output section ends up on the other side of the amp. Depending on how the amp is designed it may not need them, most Korean amps make use of one set of them (including Sundown, Nendo, DC, etc.) I'm gonna hate

8ight Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 If you just place traces on the PCB to the speaker terminals from the output section you don't need wires, that's assuming the output section is close enough to a logical place for speaker terminals. Since all of the I/O is on the long side of the Power series amps it only makes sense that the wires aren't necessary. I'm gonna hate

All power supplies have "rails" all 12v amps have power supplies. Fosgate's rails are special because they are "boosted" now shutup and buy a PBR amp! I'm gonna hate

It all comes down to the design which is dictated by another thousand things. I wouldn't give whether an amp has copper spaghetti inside of it or not any thought when buying. Look at some of Linear Power's "messes" inside amps and they are the best amps I have ever heard. I'm gonna hate
