Bdurb Posted December 4, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 4, 2012 i believe i was at 163k. i tore the differential out, had a hg leak, knocked the timing belt off 6 teeth(one more woulda been toast) and the tranny slipped bad. oh and cylinders 1&3 had 20% compression lost from the timing belt slipping when the crank pulley grommet went out. keep an eye out for any wear on the rubber boot on that main crank pulley! heres the subie. Check out my build log. 2 15's in a 3:1 (4sealed 12ported) 4th, port tuned to 49hz. It plays 30-60hz within .5 of a db. Very "musical". Any of the guys on my team can vouch for it. Picked up the kicker 600.4 saturday and it has problems. no output, and it powers on using the rca cables. seriously. SO i have to drop it off to get repaired, but the guy i got it from is paying for the repair. Awesome! So the other thing. I picked up an Audiocontrol EQX which doesnt want to turn on, and the Audiocontrol Epicenter which does work but i am not holding onto it most likely because i really dont have a use for it. Good news though, sub should be arriving today and hopefully the other will come soon. I have a few things left to purchase, biggest being amps. I need to pick up a few batteries too, as well as more 1/0. This is where i need some help making a simple decision. What to finish the wall in???? and what color to make the port?? Wall finishing ideas are either black carpet, or paint. but then as far as paint colors, black or white. Port colors, white, pink, copper, yellowish green neon shit, bright ass yellow, or burgandy. Its a toss up and a cluster@#%& of ideas. I need to make a decision.
