Bdurb Posted December 6, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 6, 2012 UPDATES! First of all, i work second shift so getting up before noon was a miracle in itself. Started about 9 oclock this morning and it was about 32 degrees. i started with the port. Bondoed then sanded it down and did a round over with a palm sander. Then i was on my way up from the shed to the garage and Fedex arrived heres some woofer porn. then i finally fixed the sealed side. sealed side is now right at 4.1 cubic feet before displacement also that blue stuff is some tape i had laying around and i resined over top of it. shit seals up good! and of course a generous amount of titebond and angle iron makes for some good strength. Also picked up a 1 inch threaded bolt and nuts and washers for a front to back. plann is to bondo more tomorrow, and pick up more resin and a few bolts for my 8 gauge terminals. Subs will be each at 1 ohm. and i will NEVER try to move this box by myself EVER again. I hurt my back realllll good this time. Bracing, glassing, sanding, gotta pick up another jigsaw blade in the morning but thats no biggie. on with the pics! test fit and a quick tease second sub will be here tuesday. Gonna start on the amp rack tomorrow too. Also i like the idea of raping peoples heads so im gonna throw my supertweets and 5.25s up on the rear on the space between teh box and roof, make a small enclosure for those 4. Gonna start the wiring hell maybe toorrow evening, or sunday. Im absolutely beat now, so time for some rest.
