AMP WIRING QUESTION HELP

Amp is American Bass vfl 120.1 Is it possibel to wire 2 Dual 4 ohm subs down to 1 ohm, and hook them up and still get full power???

Amp has 2 sets of + and - . if i wire them to 1 ohm how would i wire them to the amp since there will only be 1 set of + and - and my amp needs 2 sets? im confused

Your amp doesn't need 2. They are just there for ease of wiring. Just pick a terminal and be done

the two + and two - on the amplifier are bridged so in reality is is one + and one - with two spots to insert wire.

You can't bridge a mono block amp.

For a 2 channel/ 4 channel amp it is usually okay to bridge a pair of channels at 4 ohms. Doing so makes each channel see a 2 ohm load for maximum capable output. If the 4 channel amp is one ohm stable, it would be okay to bridge at 2 ohms on a pair of channels.

i have the hifonics colossus.. just some people say it over works the amp but ima wire it up bridged at 2 ohms.

It's no different than running the amp at 1 ohm. You'll be alright If you have the electrical to support it. They are power hungry amps.
