99blazer Posted December 6, 2012 Report Posted December 6, 2012 I had a post about doing 4 15s but since my job sucks and im on a semi budget im looking into get 2 18s. lots of questions here. first right now im running 4 dd512s in a 9.8cuft box tuned to 39hz(recommended by the ppl at the audio shop) on 1600w. would 2 higher quality 18s be louder or no? second is I am on a tight budget but im not getting anything til spring so ill have a little bit of money by then and the brands im looking atm are FI, DC and obsidian. Fi im looking at the ssd the dc im looking at the lvl3 18 and the obsidian v2 18. which one would be the best buy? My main budget i would like to stay under 300 per sub i can afford a little bit over. any ideas?? 08 Ford F150

scoobywrx05 Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 are they better than dcs Only you can answer that question by doing your research on each sub and reading reviews. Everybody has their own preference to what they like and can afford.
audiA6_audio Posted December 7, 2012 Report Posted December 7, 2012 slim budgets suck :/ i know the feeling. but like anyone will say its all about personal pref. DC definitely has alot backing the brand its a buy that comes with a piece of mind. < just my .02
