Im gonna build a new box for them. I just want to be louder. my 4 12s hit hard but i see ppl with 2 18s that hit harder that my main goal. and with 2 18s it would give me a little more space for amps and xtra batts. The amp that i will run when i get them is my sound stream rubicon 1600. but i am puttiing money back for a high quality amp.

True, cone area comparison:

4 12's = 452

2 18's = 508

You would definitely get more output, make sure you have a good box design.
