why are ther two cvr's in there?

olllld pic. i have my 4 r's in there now. so you dont think my amp will push at all. because that box is a LIL smaller than the one you designed and it hits pretty hard

the box i designed is large, will be loud, and will hit low.

basically u are only gettin 250wrms to each one of those subs. so if u get a new amp u will have twice the power over the same cone area which automatically gives u a 3 db gain. plus a larger box will also make the subs output louder.

so i say upgrade ur amp and make a new box and have fun

absolutely. so you think this amp will last pretty good for about two weeks til i get money for a better one?

no it wont be pointless. i rebuilt a box i had, changed no subs and no amps, and got more output from it. he's saying when you rebuild it and add more power, you're going to be even louder. an install is 80% build, 20% equipment

the amp will be ok to hold you over imo, just dont strain it to keep the signal clean. dont wanna damage your speakers while you wait for the new amp

it will work and it will prolly be loud just because of cone area but all im sayin is it could be alot louder

go ahead and wire em to 2 ohm keep the gain below 1/2 and u should be fairly satisfied but with a new amp ull be even happier

thanks alot from the both of you. i learned a lot, well im going to make the box today and ill let you know how it turned out. maybe some vids? or build log of just the box?
