Help With Mounting Depth.

(Sorry, I accidently posted this thread in the wrong section earlier and don't know how to delete it)

Hi there, I've just ordered myself some Hybrid Audio 6.5 Imagine v2 components, and due to getting them at a special price cannot return them.

However, stupidly, I didn't realise that they had a mounting depth of almost 70mm!, and due to owning a Corsa C with electric windows, I don't believe I can fit these in my car.

Is there anyway I can fit these in without affecting any stock parts?, eg I would like to fit everything back to the way I bought it when I plan to sell it.

I don't care how it looks eg fibreglass or carpeting etc, I just want to be able to use the speaker without damaging anything.

Also, does anyone know the maximum space between my speaker and my doorcard/grill, as I was thinking I could make a set of thicker spacers (eg 1-1/2" maybe?) if it would fit without me having to saw apart the door etc.

Cheers.

Roll the window all the way down then put the speaker where you want it. Then measure how big the gap between the speaker and the mounting panel, add a bit extra for clearance and that is the thickness you need to make your spacers.
