Neel Posted January 26, 2008 Report Share Posted January 26, 2008 well from the pics, it looks like it will only be a tight fit toward the bottom where it rubs on your carpet....you could just not coat that area where it rubs with the texture and leave it black....i dont think it will be noticeable.. i also dont think a few mills of paint is going to cause any huge issues with clearance.. One good coat of Duplicolor rattlecan bedliner (maybe 1 - 1.5 cans worth) Wallmart carries it. A dusting of fleckstone paint will finish the job, probaly 1/8 of a can will take care of the speckled look for you.
