Yes I am. Nope not a wall. Going in a 7.75 cube box behind the rear seats in the cargo bay. I have more room than you from what it looks like? I was able to go 41" wide in between the wheel wells. My current dilemma is an alternator. Debating on a few different ones.

I will send you pics when it is installed and done, should be inside of the next two weeks. The box is 90% done. Had to use Aeros though, a slot would burn way too much room.

For now here is what my FI looks like. This box is 6.22 cubes gross.

wow dude ya way more room than I have.... I can only fit 38 in. through the hatch let alone the wheel wells haha.....as far as the alternator how much do you want to spend?

I had a 18 in a 6^3 box and it was literally tire well to tire well and was SO much closer to the hatch..

That box is 18x18x41.

I am willing to spend somewhere around 500 and down. Right now Excessive Amperage is winning at 385 for a 200A that puts out 140 at idle. I am watiing on a quote from Mechman though. Singer was 430 for a 190, Tenny was 325 for a 180, Ohio gen was super expensive so i forgot about them.

DC's are way out of my price range for what you get. If I am gonna drop that kind of cash, I will get a mechman 370. But the main issue is belt wrap and the 5 rib belt my car uses. :-(

did you check out the dc 180? its in your price range and puts out probably more like 200 amps... or the dc 230...do you plan to add more power in the future?
