question about battery and charging

My question is i wanna get batteries for my system but i'm in a wheelchair and my van is a wheelchair accessible van so the dilemma is i always here you guys talking about charging the batteries but i don't get in the van everyday maybe once like every two weeks , is that going to hurt the battery of me not turning the car on everyday or every other day , the only person who takes care of me is my wife and kids so should i have them turn the van on every other day or what .?

Perfect situation for a battery charger to keep you batteries charged up! When you arent using the van just leave the charger plugged in. AGM batteris and charger will just "float" charge the batteries and you can leave them hooked up when you arent iding around.

If you have them tied into your charging system so the alternator charges them when the van is running then you only need to top them off about once a week or so. There are some finer details like if your alternator is large enough to support your battery bank.
