CWorthington Posted December 18, 2012 Author Report Posted December 18, 2012 I also cant figure out why i have to turn my gains all the way up for my sub to kick hard (amp gains and h/u gains.) Im hoping that with the line driver i can boost up the voltage and get my sub pounding hard agian.

Turn up the sub level on the deck. CWorthington Posted December 19, 2012 Author Report Posted December 19, 2012 I'm going to use the Rd bld to amp up the voltage of the RCA into the amp. I'll let you guys know how it works out when it gets here.
btotheeck Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 You might also use an iPod or similar with a headphone jack to RCA cable and plug that into your subwoofer amp as your audio signal so that you can diagnose the amp itself.
CWorthington Posted January 5, 2013 Author Report Posted January 5, 2013 Well a new bld did nothing. I probed the rcas and got .002 volts so i called up sonic told them and they said it was defective. I currently have a new better model on its way. I sure hope this will solve all my problems.
CWorthington Posted April 11, 2013 Author Report Posted April 11, 2013 I sent back the line driver and used another one. I also used the rcs to supply the line driver. The new head unit put out 4 volts and everything got solved.
