Hey Bigmescan, I know what you mean about not wanting to drill into the body. So what Im going to do is use the holes already in the back wall (the ones for mounting the trim pieces) and put nut plates on the back side (I call them nut plates not sure if that's what they really are or not) And then use some MDF as my mounting structure for the amps and just mount the MDF to the back wall using the already existing holes and some nut plates. It's an idea if you don't want to drill into the body. As for kevgnar, yeah I've got the single cab It definitely makes it to where I need to become creative with what I do sometimes. Lol But those extended cab builds can get pretty extreme. I know CJ18 has a 4 door F150 walled off and that thing is badass!!

Good luck with whatever you decide to do. There are a few ways of doing it without drilling into the body, just have to get creative sometimes. Lol

yeah. the hardest thing is trying to see what i can do with the battery. im gonna try and make it fit under the hood so i canmore room and be able to run 4 8'eventually

Which motor do you have under there? If you have the 4.2 then there is room by the main fuse panel to weld in a battery tray for a second battery. Another way to add more battery space under the hood would be to take the existing battery tray and add an extension onto it, extending it out into the engine bay more allowing for side by side battery placement. Other ways would be to install battery boxes under the floor of the truck. Like I said, you just have to get creative with these single cabs. Lol

If you rarely use you windshield sprayers you can remove the reservoir and make a bigger battery rack there. To mount the amp you can screw into the square brace we have at around 14" from the floor. it won't drill through the actual back wall itself. Hey pioneerchuck can you post the pic of the measurements to where they all show up. I wanna model it on sketchup.

Alright so when I drew up this box, I had in mind that I was going to be using 2 - 12s. But I've decided to go with 3 Sundown SA-10s. The box is somewhere around 3.11 ft^3 after all displacement. Its going to take a little bit more fine detailing and getting things right but this is the general idea of what my next build will be like. Just gotta start saving up for it now.

The only other measurements you cant see are the height or width of the port (however you look at it) which is 3", the width of the box itself is going to be 14", total height of the box (far back) 30", and height of the front of the box is 12".
