I finally got the wooden roller in the mail and started laying down the deadener. I used the audio Technix 60 mil and I gotta say, its a lot quieter in the truck with it installed. Very nice product. But here are a few pictures of the install. 40 sq ft allowed me to do one layer on the whole floor and the back wall.

I will be buying another 40 sq ft to do the roof and layer up in a few spots on the floor where the most vibrations occur. Hope to have the floor done in the next two weeks and have some wire going in shortly there after.

Got a little more work done on the truck, the passenger side has all 5 runs of speaker wire in. The drivers side will wait for another day. I also fixed the shift tube today after it decided it wanted to shift itself into reverse and back over a pole while I was in the post office.

Alright so my XS D3400 came in the mail today which allowed me to run the 0ga and do the Big 3. Only problem I ran into was the starter solenoid runs off of the alt positive wire then goes to the battery and the computer funs from that solenoid positive. So what I did was I left the stock 4ga wire in place for the starter solenoid and computer and ran my own alt to battery positive and then proceeded to do the body to battery, frame to motor, and battery to motor ground. Going to add in a battery to frame ground and a battery to motor block ground since this one went to the starter bolt. Then Ill add another alt to battery positive and start running the wiring into the truck for the 2 Crescendo Logic batteries. Anyways here are a couple pictures of the battery and Big 3 install

I didn't feel like buying a 4ga ring terminal for the amp I have in the truck now so I just used a 0ga terminal for now since it'll only be there a couple weeks.

This has got to be my new favorite tool, it made such ease of getting to bare metal on the grounds. I don't know why I ever used a wire wheel....Lol

Finally got my carpet in the mail today and figured it was time to get off my ass and get the rust in the "channels" of the floor taken care of. So I got my POR 15 silver and got to work. Used a wire wheel and a grinder and cleaned up the area of some of the loose rusted areas then used the Marine Clean and the Prep and Ready to get everything cleaned up and prepped for the paint. Only took a few pics but the first one gives a good idea of how bad the rust was in the channels.

This is driver side channel and it was pretty rusty down there, half of it was done other half was still bare metal.

Same here, only 1 coat on so far.

Slowly been trying to get everything done with and the latest acomplishment was getting rid of the old Ford rubber mat and actually putting in carpet. Sadly this excited me...Lol

Just laying it down to form a little bit to the floors contours.

About halfway installed, got the passenger seat installed at this point.

And finally here is everything installed.

Thanks man, it took a little bit of work since i kept the carpet wadded up in my closet while i was on leave but it molded back pretty quick. And I got it from www.stockinteriors.com they have a great selection and their prices are pretty much the best I could find not to mention their customer service is unbeatable!

So Ive finally gotten some free time and little bit of a weather break to finally install the drivers side wiring for the speakers. Again it is 5 runs, 3 to the door and 2 to the A-Pillar.
