95neon_thumper82 Posted July 12, 2013 Report Share Posted July 12, 2013 And if you're going to use metal amp racks make sure the amps aren't sitting on the metal as it can cause weird things to happen, at least according to most amp manufacturers I just wish I could afford plexi.... hmmm may have to get some felt or something and some spray adhesive for the amp to actually sit on. hmmm... or maybe some like that thin wood crap they use to put over mdf for like cabinets and crap.... i don't remember it is called... :/ plexi/acrylic rocks... I'm thinking I've got to use some of that in this build. it would look sick with some light shining through it like optic fiber type crap know what I mean? hmmm maybe an acrylic amp rack? hmmm wonder about the heat though let me study Man I wanna go too... There's pics of how the amp rack sits in this thread, its hinged to the floor with a piece of 2x4 screwed to the back of it, the weight of the amps holds it down, pretty cool actually, took forever to build tho awesome I knew I missed a picture somewhere. .. I shall scroll backwards I like that rack!
