Ryya
I like my speakers for the cost I got them for, but I hugely regret not getting the components. I'd really like to put in some Focal PS165's or maybe some Mmats components soon and see how much that improves my imaging. The cool thing about those infinity's though is they sound pretty decent off deck or amp power, i've heard them both ways. In another news I have my L7's on craigslist right now, I'm hoping to get rid of them for cash to pick out some better subs. I'm thinking dual 12's this time with a proper built box. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/ele/3565342135.html My Build Log - 2003 Volkswagen Jetta GLI VR6 2.8L

Ryya
Battery decided to take a shit on me. See the bulging on the side? Turns out it had 15 days left on warranty so I was able to got a pretty mean discount on an XS. Found another problem... A hole in the fuse box. Got a new one coming in the mail, though! Jordan Guess
lovin the log, how do you get the rear deck panel out? ide love to do some foaming like you did. I know exactly what you mean about having the rattle. right now ive got a cd case wedged in between the light and window and it takes care of it. Ryya
Thanks! There are 3 plastic clips that you need to remove from the top of the deck panel. Once those are out use wrench to remove the 3 bolts that are now exposed. Now the deck is also held in by clips, so life the front half of it straight up enough to unsnap each clip. I had to stick my arm in there to get a couple of them. Once they are all unsnapped pull straight toward you and it will slide all the way out. Wasn't hard at all! Yea man the rattles improved so much after I did that, and the deck fit right back in perfectly. Already found my next big rattles to kill. One near the dome lights on the headliner and the other on the bottom of my center console. I might try some expanding foam and see how that goes. zrkie
Looks good, have u done the big 3? Hopefully u've a bit more juice to crank out from that alternator... Another thing is , I like u kept the build pretty consistent budget wise. Next upgrade would probably be a better front end system..? Don't like sharing your knowledge? Welll.. Don't come here and grab others then! - GTFO.
