Rockbrook Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 about to order Some Eminence Eminators i was initially gonna get 4 of the 6 1/2's and run them on them on the amp in my sig. (PPI PC250) But then i saw the Eminence Eminator 8's were about the same price and thought about ordering 2 8's and 2 6 1/2's my question is would running those two different size speakers on the same amp be ideal even if they are the same brand and model but just different sizes?? or would i be better off just gettin 4 of the 6 1/2's altogether?
SnowDrifter Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 Yeah you can do it. Although running on separate channels would be ideal so you can better match the crossovers and power handling requirements for each speaker ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
