TrunkMuzik Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 So i finished my SQ system in my daily driver and ready for an SPL build I am about to buy a second car for a beater Limiting myself to 2000-2500 watts at the most and space will not be an issue What would be the best route to go sub wise to be as loud as possible? 2 15s? 4 8s? 1 18? ...? Without music, life would be an error
ToNasty Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 we cant turn this into a vs thread. dependiong on what car or truck, 2 15's would be more cone area. also whats your budget ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
audiA6_audio Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 Will need more input but here's a chart real quick just to look at the amount of cone are you'll be looking at. if i understand correctly the more cone area (depending on the sub) the more air movement. ive also seen some people say the more drivers the more force involved. If it was my choice id go with two fifteens. ive always loved the sound of a couple heavy hitters.
TrunkMuzik Posted December 31, 2012 Author Report Posted December 31, 2012 most likely going to be a 84 olds delta 88. $1500 MAX for build like i say, space isnt an issue, i will remove the back seat if i have to lol Without music, life would be an error

TrunkMuzik Posted December 31, 2012 Author Report Posted December 31, 2012 if space isn't a worry, throw 4 sundown sa-12's in there ok 2k then buy another 2k amp down the road. lol wont i need more then just an upgraded alt and extra battery with 4000 watts though? thats the main reason im limiting the power is because i dont want to do more then that Without music, life would be an error
ToNasty Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 if your staying under 2500 watts then put a xs battery under the hood and do the big 3 and you should be ok. depending on what your alt puts out ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
