djscrappydee Posted December 31, 2012 Report Posted December 31, 2012 i have 2 sa-12's and i just got a Crescendo 2000 watt amp. and i hooked it up and it doesnt even sound that much louder than the rockford fosgate 750 when i had it hooked up. did i do something wrong hooking it up? or do i need a new box? the one i got now is 4cbft 34hz its was the first box i ever built so may not be built the greatest lol. anyone help that would be great! john253a Posted January 1, 2013 Report Posted January 1, 2013 if you can get hold/borrow a dd1 use that but double the amps doesnt mean double as load, im not 100% but i think double power is normally somewhere around 3db of an increase
