Spencer Good
Trying to figure out a good box design in port range for a single hdc3 10, customer is wanting 20^2 of port area or 16 minimum. I cannot for the life of me get this right.. He wants 1.5 @ 38hz. Have been in torres and sketchup fooling around for hours and can't get it. 2012 TORed Challenger 4 Alpine Type-R 10 1 Brutus 2400.1 20' Knu 1/0 OFC 1 XS Power D1200

Spencer Good
Going in to an RSX hatchback so there aren't really any size constraints. I worked with him before to make him a box that is 2.0 @ 36hz and it has horrible port noise on round ports.. Trying something new this time. 2012 TORed Challenger 4 Alpine Type-R 10 1 Brutus 2400.1 20' Knu 1/0 OFC 1 XS Power D1200

Spencer Good
I've been trying that.. I absolutely cannot get it in range with a slot port. We found one method but we are afraid that the opening above the port will be a problem hang on one sec i'll edit post with picture for you. 2012 TORed Challenger 4 Alpine Type-R 10 1 Brutus 2400.1 20' Knu 1/0 OFC 1 XS Power D1200
Spencer Good
Would there be any port noise problems with this setup? Any kind of port integrity I should be worried about here? 2012 TORed Challenger 4 Alpine Type-R 10 1 Brutus 2400.1 20' Knu 1/0 OFC 1 XS Power D1200

I cannot for the life of me get this right.. He wants 1.5 @ 38hz. Have been in torres and sketchup fooling around for hours and can't get it. So here is a suggestion for a hatchback sub can be placed up or back: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 38 Hz Vb = 1.5 ft^3 External Height = 14 in External Width = 26 in External Depth = 14 in Port Width = 2 1/8 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: Top & Bottom = 26 x 14 Left & Right Sides = Side 1 = 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 Side 2 = 13 1/4 x 12 1/2 Front = 23 1/8 x 12 1/2 Back = 26 x 12 1/2 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 10 3/8 x 12 1/2 Extension = 13 1/2 x 12 1/2 Box Sketch (generic dimensions):
