What direction to go with batt?

Recommended Posts

A couple of weeks ago my batt died while I was out of town, so my mechanic came over to replace my batt. At the local auto part store the choices were store brand for $50,$70,$150 for the best I went with the optima for a few dallors more $200. At this point Im kinda pissed becuase I was donig my reserch on the xs batts. Question where should I go from here? My truck is 2003 ford explorer. 2600 watt on subs stock alt possi 130-140 amp.

1 Keep my yellow and add a yellow.

2 Put a red up front and move yellow to the back.

3 Get 1 big xs up front nothing in back. ( Prob only can afford 1)

Yo dog i heard you like boxes. so i put a box inside a box so you can bass while you FAIL

It sounds like that yellow top is fairly new I would imagine you could put a D3100 or similar batt in the back and get away with that without breaking anything. I have a yellow top just collecting dust because I didn't do research first also. Maybe take a look at crescendo's battery too it's pretty well priced if it really does what it says.
