ohiohoss Posted January 6, 2013 Report Share Posted January 6, 2013 new member here from ohio i didnt see a new member area to post in so i will do it here if thats ok i own a 1985 elcamino its in paint as of right now so i gutted the interior i was only going to build 6.5in speaker pods 1 per door but after making the pod i ended up covering the whole lower panel with fleece i was able to staple the fleece to the panel and get it to lay over it perfect next is the resin after my door panels are done i plan on doing my center console and dash and also the kick panels i wont be putting speakers in the kick panels because the car is going to be manual trans and the speaker would be to close to the clutch pedal i will post pics soon as i figure out how to ty Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ohiohoss Posted January 8, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 8, 2013 i put resin on one of the panels and let it cure for a few hours then put on a second coat its dry now so i flipped it over to cover the edges of the backside i thn did the backside of the other one once thats setup then i can flip it over and resin the outside there coming out real nice im still torn between painting them or just covering with material Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
