weshole
Ok here is the dilemma. I am installing a pioneer dvd player in a buddys pickup but am a little lost on what wiring kit to actually have him (or me) pick up. Before I go any farther, the only local brand I have access to is Metra. I went on metras vehicle guide and got quite a few options. But most of them show bose and onstar interface which this vehicle does NOT have. It has factory steering wheel controls and door chime in the drivers speaker. BOTH of which he wants to retain. So I would like to know which kit to get. My reasoning says either the GMOS-LAN-01 or the GMOS-100. Or is it something different all together? Anybody have a clue to what I need? Here is the vehicle specs. 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 (Classic) 6.6 Diesel 4 door NO BOSE NO ONSTAR Does have door chime at drivers door speaker Does have factory steering wheel controls (wants to keep)

Rmichael91
The ASWC and gmos-lan-01. ASWC for steering controls. Gmos-01 does have onstar retention but you don't have to plug it in, no big deal. Won't affect anything. Antenna adapters dependent on whats going in same for the dash kit. Front and rear speakers are both 6.5s with a max depth of 5". Tweets .75"
