Max1636 Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 I'm planning out my new system, and rather than do what most do and build the audio part of the system before the electrical part I want to see what I can run with what I have now. This is the electrical I will have: 1 x 225 Amp Upgraded Alternator ($700+ To Upgrade Any Further) 1 x Optima YellowTop (750CCA, 55Ah) 2 x Delkor 8D-1300 (1300CCA, 200Ah Each) Total CCA = 3350 Total Ah = 455 Dual 0 Gauge Front to Back Big 3 Upgrade I need to be able to run about a 5000w RMS system at least for a pair of Fi SP4's. Being rated 3k RMS each 5000w RMS each would be the minimum. Nate Futuristic Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 Add another battery or two I've seen and heard people running 5k+ on stock alts with a big battery bank I assume you know what imp rise is so unless your getting 2 2500bdcp that will put out a constant 5k or a 6k+ you won't see a full 500a draw unless your wired under 1ohm What amp(s) you gonna run? down rpping vanderbilt. 30 miles from victoria. i own the 3rd loudest setup here out of 3. but i did put together all 3 setups ^^ Cant wait to swalllow Ghost's babies

Well it would be nice if I could run a Crescendo 5500 Well a bigger alt will help... Its up to you if you already have a newer h/o alt is say just keep adding batteries until your voltage is to your liking.. Also a ballsy move running lead acid batteries in the back.
