T.A.G. Audio
So I bought a clarion eqs746 and I'm installing a speaker amp next week. So my question is the eq is one set of rca's in and 3 out. So I have the input into the eq plugged into the rear output on the hu. So for the eq to get full frequencies should I set the fader completely to rear on the hu? 03 Ford f150 2 Sa8 v2s Ap 1800d... n8ball2013
no why would you need to do that? if your head unit does not put out a full range signal it wont matte rwhat you set the eq on. which your head unit according ot hte specs has a single subwoofer out. You are not going to be able to use it with an EQ to do anyhting but the sub range. T.A.G. Audio
I contacted kenwood and they showed me how to change the rca outputs to rear instead of sub only. I even brought up the point that it said low pass only but I went into the setting and changed it to where the rca's are putting out what would be rear or full range. 03 Ford f150 2 Sa8 v2s Ap 1800d... T.A.G. Audio
And what I was wondering is if setting the fader to rear on the hu because of the rca's being used as rear woul put a more full range of sound to the eq. 03 Ford f150 2 Sa8 v2s Ap 1800d... Sonic
Set fader (front/rear) to neutral or 0 position, if you fade it to rear it won't increase the full range sound to the eq.
T.A.G. Audio
Ok that's all I needed to know. Someone else on another forum told a guy that he should do that. Lol.
