OrangeJuiced
I have a Kdc x993 headunit and it has active capabilities and some nice settings for audio and I want to use a clarion eq, but if I do, I basically lose all the headunits capabilities. Pros of eq: Close volume and sub control Could run Xbox through system off aux Cons: Lose settings from deck. I'll be using a c1100.4 which also is active capable and a bc2000. I do have access to a cc1 to set crossover points as well. So what would be better to use and fine tune my system? And why. Thanks. 2001 GMC Sierra Build. White Lightning
If it was me, I would spend the money on upgrading your head unit ... Possibly up to a DNX9980HD. Excellent EQ setup !!! If I was going to add an EQ to your setup, I'd look for something like an Alexis 32 band to make it worth your wild ... Just my suggestions here from someone that REALLY enjoys their music ... OrangeJuiced
My truck won't fit a double din unit and I honestly don't have the money for that unit. Where about could I find a decent eq like that? I guess the real question is, would I be losing much by running the eq instead of using the deck settings? 2001 GMC Sierra Build. OrangeJuiced
It has the capability to, but I don't know how to use it. If someone could teach me I definitely would. 2001 GMC Sierra Build. Body dropped and Juiced

My friend has had his for 2 years. The only features I really like about the eq is the aux input and how volume and sub level are right next to each other. Have another recommendation is I decided to use an eq? 2001 GMC Sierra Build. Body dropped and Juiced
