kingkongthumpin Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 I have 2 Pioneer champion series pros and a kicker 15 and a lanzar 4000 Watt amp all barely used! Should I trade that to 4 Alpine type r 12s in boxes that are also brand new? Do you think it would be a good even trade?

kingkongthumpin Posted January 13, 2013 Author Report Posted January 13, 2013 I honestly don't like the amp! I could care less if I never used it again! What are your comments on the type rs are they good subs do they produce a lot of bass?

Get them and make sure you have a quality amp to use with them and you'll be very pleased. subwoofers - two eclipse 88120s box - 3.4 cubes tuned to 32 hz amps - aq1200 and pheonix gold zx450 New build : 2 obsidian audio 15s same amp 6.1 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz in a civic hatch

If you EVER plan to compete with the Type R's, see if he'll trade your subs for just his without the box. Build a nice box for 2 of them, and either sell or save the other two for backups.
