Toady
So i have this issue. brought in a 2004 chevy cavalier for a cd player install and door speakers. Came with the chime retention module for that year. wired it up as usual (heatshrink and solder) last installed relay. Sound was fine, all speakers worked so it was good to leave. My friend asked me what would make the sound go away, the cd player is powering up but no sound out of speakers, all connections are good. Any Ideas? Toady
Thanks to everyone that chimed in on this problem. After manipulating the harness and messing with it, there was a problem inside the chime module. replaced and now its fixed
