JayCaps Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 Hey guys, I'm brand new to the forum so I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong place, please forgive me if I am. I recently bought two Kicker CVR "12 and a Sony XM-GTR2202 amplifier. I am getting problems getting this set up to work properly, or at all, without having turning the volume of my head unit all the way up. I know the amp is not of a good quality but it is the same one I had on my previous set-up andback then it worked fairly well. I thought it could be my ground connection but again it's connected to the same place my previous setup was. With the volume turned almost all of the way up the subs will hit fairly hard at first but then fade out. I know this is probably not very healthy for my subs. Any assistance would be much appreciated it. Thank you, JC.

Integra_boomer Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Rca's are the jacks you send signal from your hu to your amp.. sounds like a tuning problem maybe. All the components work together the setting on the hu are just as crucial as your amp. And all those settings go through your signal cable.
