85buickrivi Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 hello everyone i know this is a crappy diagram but i think its easier than trying to explain. would this be right to add a second battery??? or instead of running the + to the alternator run it to the other (main battery)??? any help would be greatly appreciated each battery would be in the inner front fenders driver and passenger
SLYentist Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 looks about right. you might consider running the negative from front battery to rear battery directly. you'll get lower resistance than when using the car frame. Cables and wires almost never fail; the terminations do.
