Wow. I dont think my custom DD's can take a beating like that.. But it is

interesting to know though..

what DD's do you have?

A pair 9100 12s outfitted with the z motors.. These replaced my single SS XXX15(have a pair for sell) setup...

the woofer is barley moving... it cant even blow a kleenex....

your looking at 800 watts IF your lucky on a 9500 series, talking like the woofers a champ because it hasnt blown..

If you want to make a statement about a woofer at least clamp its power from the wallsocket, throw another woofer on top of it, throw guns at it, throw circular saws at it....

Just remember that just because a wallsocket is 120 volts, it does not mean its putting out 120 volts! with heat comes resistance, with resistance comes less output. Ive wallsocketed woofers that got so warm from extended playing that they only received 96volts.

the owner of the video said he's sorry for not throwing guns at it will try to do a better job of making a more impressive wall socket video next time.

Sorry audiofanaticz, but the 26 minutes you spent trying to figure out how to make this video verbally look bad isn't working.

So Audiofanaticz, since its a DD AUDIO sub there is no way when plugging it into a 120v outlet that it could get more than 40 volts right ? Thats what im getting from your weird sounding response on this video and peoples comments. I get it, we are all just stupid. You win you win

also DD's at 60 hz on 2K do barely move, its not like its a 30hz tone.

Sorry adding a video of a brand that you don't support sir.........

Your butthurt huh?

How can you claim 2000+ watts when its not? nor have anyway to tell?

There are so many things to factor in, that you just cant factor in without clamping a/c amperage and a/c voltage....

Its a 30minute video, its long and drawn out... A DD wont last 30minutes @ 2ohms constantly even if its playing 60hz..

Hell the breaker wont even last that long on 2 ohms. So its probably a dual 2 ohm woofer wired in series to 4ohms...

Im sure I wall socketed a lot more woofers then you have, and almost every time i wall socket a woofer I clamp power, and show the coils impedance before hand.

Wall socketing woofers gets boring unless you do something fun to mess with them and put them though a real test of abuse. 29minutes of 60hz hum is nothing cool.

I ran DD long before you have.and

20amp breaker on 110 is doubt full since most 110volt wiring uses 15amp breakers with 14/3 romex.... and that is to code. Sure any fool could put a 20amp breaker in the box instead of a 15amp, but its not safe, especially when your doing shit like this, the wire in the walls will get hot and make it a big fire hazard, especially if your pulling the amperage you claim to be pulling on 14/3 wire.... lulz

So unless your building is wired with 12/3 romex then you be using 30amp breakers, not 20.....

I have said nothing on the video, any comments left on the video calling you out or hating like you claim is on their own doing. I guess they must know more then yall too and well butthurt is taking over on your end again.....

And for that DD that I no longer run since Im constantly trying out different brands after using DD for a solid 5-6 years....

One of my 9518Ds in my buddys no wall geo metro, loaned it to him to try instead of his Cactus Sounds woofer.

It did a 156.7db Legal iirc with a Team Cactus 5kw amp

Here is why I left dd, 2 different suspension setups on 2 of my woofers that where sent in for a recone at the same time.....
