So I figured out my future build in the next few months. I am going to do a center console build with 2 aq/sq hdc3 10s. It will be right at 4.4 cubes ported and tuned to 30-32 hz. Im going to put an aq2200 on them and the center console will be fiberglass and will have cup holders and my eq mounted in it.

Got tired of this big ol box taking up so much room.

Working on selling my substage and amp right now so that I can start on the center console stuff. Plan is still the same, 2 hdc3 10s on a sq/aq 2200. In a ported fiberglass center console tuned to about 34 with around 1.5-2 cubes per woofer. It should sound really good. And maybe just maybe it will be a little louder than my sa12s.

I remember when I was in high school I had a single Fi q 12 in my f150 ext. Reelfish92 kept telling me to take out my bench n I was like hell no I need it. A couple years later my bench is out lol.

For now and until at least college is over this will be my setup and I will keep adding to it. But once I get out of college get another car and some money this will become my truck with a blowthrough/ wall. But until then I will just keep making this how I want it and have a clean good sounding install. I am extremely stoked about doing this console thing because it will make my passengers a lot more comfortable.

Well the truck is being retired. It needs new heads and all the shops say it will be 3750 to fix. So I'm picking up a 2000 Subaru impreza 2.5rs coupe next week and will start a build log on it when I get it. The truck will probably be fixed eventually I am going to take it to a guy I know that is amazing with engines and see if he can figure something out. But I will have the truck just to haul my bikes around and as a truck my main driver and daily build will be in my new to me suby!

Damn you could pick up a 4.6 or a 5.4 for that price out of a junkyard. Hell, my buddy Chase totalled his 06 5 speed GT last night, so theres a badass DOHC 3v 4.6 you could swap right there

Haha. I will see what happens once my buddy takes a look at it and see if he can make something work. The problem is that the aluminum heads made by fucking ford have shot most all the plugs out of the head and I had it repaired with the thread kits. But now those have started coming out. And the shops around me have told me after that happens there is nothing else to do but put in new heads. But we shall see if this guy I know can machine it out or something who knows??? Don't get me wrong I love ford but this is a big screw up on their part. Everyone I know has started getting these problems around my mileage with these engines. I'm ready for something new anyway though.
