Carbon Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 carbon fiber might actually be better as a trunk lid it will vibrate as one peice insted of rattling tin hitting eachother carbon fiber is VERY strong only thing ive seen is the gel coat(clearcoat) can crackle or spiderweb a little(on a ollld Honda) but the actual carbon fiber will stay strong Yeah this.
