Guest Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 why not buy an AQ knob? it has a clipping indicator on it. granted its not 100% accurate, but its a good guess.

I'll post in the WTB, but AQ's website has been sold out recently [*]DC Neo 15" [*]Digital Designs M3a [*]Audioque Super Tweets [*]SoundQubed 6.5" Mids [*]All Knukonceptz 1/0 w/ Big 3 [*]XS Power D6500 [*]Pioneer DEH-80PRS
Sanitarium Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 FIRST thing you should EVER buy when going with anything even REMOTELY big in car audio, is a damn voltage meter of some kind. DMM, or some dedicated car audio piece.. perferably a DMM so you can see what's going on at certain points.

AZaudio Posted January 24, 2013 Author Report Posted January 24, 2013 Turned the gain down, atleast below where it was at when it was working fine and still goes into protect around the same volume. Any possibility I already did major damage? I did use my remote wire from my hifonics hfi1000, could this be a problem? 99blazer Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 did u try contacting aq. they where pretty quick to respond when i had an issue. remote wire shouldnt be an issue. did you see if the ground wire was loose any? and i know its 1ohm stable but it be a slight chance its going into protect from u running it .75. just my thought im probably wrong but there is that slight possibility 08 Ford F150
AZaudio Posted January 24, 2013 Author Report Posted January 24, 2013 I have been skeptical about the ground, but it has held up for 2 weeks no issues or movements. I had been running it .75 for the same amount of time, I only adjusted the filters a bit before this started happening, and i reverted back to where they were after it starting going into protect.
