So I just got a new car (the BMW) and I'm starting to think getting two 15" L7's in the trunk is not going to work so I'm leaning more twords 2-6 12s or if anyone else had any opinions on a good set up for this car please feel free to rant. Lol thanks again guys.

I have an 01 E38, so I'm interested how you'll integrate this into your bimmer. Do you have a DSP amp?

Check out my build log, I have an '04 M3.

I was only able to squeeze in two 12's that are angled behind the rear seat.

How much trunk space are you willing to consume?

"Louder than two 15's" is pretty subjective as a goal. There are a LOT of factors that adds up to how loud you are.

I designed mine to be flush with the opening behind the rear seat which constricted me to two 12's.

If you're fine with the subs being recessed into the trunk along with the box at the very back, then you could probably fit two 15's in there.

I don't have any measurements on that portion of my trunk so I don't know.

You'll have to get out the tape measure and see. :good:

You'll love 2 15's if they'll fit. Otherwise, you'll have to tune 2 12's around 40 maybe higher to be as loud as 2 15's but you'll lose SQ.
