Skrilla Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 I know this is kind of a "vs" thread, but I'm hoping it will be okay because I'm looking for some input from experienced users of the two. Mods, please lock this thread if you feel it is unacceptable... Currently I'm using the bass knob that comes with the AQ amp, and I'm getting a second amp to run strapped. I've herd some people having issues with the AQ bass knob (I haven't had any), and I've herd nothing but positive feedback form the LC1. I tune everything with the DD-1, but I like having the clipping indicator just because it's a little more reassuring. I think I tend to monitor it a little too much, though. lol. Anyways, If anybody has some experience, please chime in . I'll be putting in a new box and amp soon, so I'd like to either run the LC1 then, or keep the AQ knob. Thanks! 2 HDC3 18's AQ2200D

Katt Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 I had a bassknob on the 1200D, and didn't exactly care for it. On top of the wiring for it. Especially changing amps too, some wiring is different in the cable. And knobs too. So you're better off with the LC1, I have one now, and i love it.
