epicenter in dash

I know the readings on the spl meter will be off but are they consistently off ... like if I hit 150 on TL and 157 on ac then change something and hit 145 on TL would it be 152 on the ac?..im in the market for a bass processor or line driver and ran across the epicenter and it would be nice to have sometbing to compare things on even if they are high numbers just the ability to tell if my changes lost or gained would be phenomenal .. or could anyone suggest a decently cheap processor for sub amps? ..my mids sound fine (dayton 6" refrences and pioneer 3/4 silk tweets active off of aura mr675h) but I feel the bottom end is lacking off the headunits outputs and im soon to add a second 2200d so I feel I could benifit from a line driver and dont really wanna use my cheapy cadence 7 band eq/ line driver .. thanks fellas
