JL 12W7 in sealed or ported box help

i just picked up a JL 12W7 and pushing it with a AQ2200 and wanted to to figure out which ported or sealed will push it to its full potential and sound the cleanest for My 2007 Jeep Compass

and which ever you think can you help me out with some measurements i want to make it at least 38 wide

sorry im asking alot its just a nice sub and i want it in a great box

It works well in either enclosure type, just depends on how much space you're willing to take up.

I say go ported if you want the most outta of it.
