matt6288 Posted January 28, 2013 Report Share Posted January 28, 2013 Im installing 2 15" alpine type r subs with a Alpine MRX-240 (2400 watts @ 2 ohms, 1500 watts @ 4 ohms) mono amp at 4 ohms. Im am upgrading my stock battery to an xs D3400 battery, a high output alternator (mechman 240 amps), the big three upgrade with 1/0 gauge wire, and amp wired with 1/0 gauage wiring kit. If you see yourself upgrading soon to a more power hungry setup then you could get the alternator now if you really wanted to. Edit: just saw you corrected it as 2400 watt. Yeah I would say go with the Alt as well.
