So when using fiberglass, I build a frame for it, then I use fleece or some type of cover to cover it,then cover it, and thsn resin and fiberglass it correct ? And how thick should I try to make it ? Still dont know what 15 im gonna use, if you have a good one...put it down and I will look it upp ! Raptorman
Need a budget for the 15, also how many watts is he going to run to it and what type of music. And you are correct for the fiberglass. Make sure to use a lot of mat. Make it tough. 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid. ChevyBoy95
Make bottom the box, walls if need be, with no top(where the grassing will be done). Make a speaker ring for whatever sub and stilt it up on dowels or whatever, pull the fleece over stapling it down, put your resin down and make sure the fleece is soaked. After remove the bottom of the box, remove the stilts, while bottom is off lay down a few layers of mat and then put the bottom back on. Sand sand sand sand primer fine sand primer paint. ChevyBoy95
If you used dowels the same width as the speaker ring, you could leave then in for added strength. Carbon
Depending on if its a kicker 15 or DD15 weight would be an issue if you didnt do enough mat.
