Recommended Posts

Its a tiny car but im thinking about rearranging it and completely deleting the rear seats and putting the amps and batteries in the hatch area and the sub where the rear seats are supposed to be .. just depeds how it sounds to me off thr extra juice lol

Again see previous posts .. unless my port can be smothered against the hatch sub up port back isnt possible and I was also told to expect close to 4800ish from the 2200ds strapped at 1ohm :-) ...if I do get it recorded it will be with my note 2 so wont be excellent quality but ima try to record it

Aren't the aqs 2 ohm stable strap? Not 1 ohm?

If that's true then we might not only see the sub go up in smoke but also the amps

the amps should be fine...but that woofer is gonna be toast....

You're probably more likely to do a hair trick with it reconed to 15 and given enough volume and port area, tuned low, rather than choked 18 in a box too small.

Thats what im thinking aswell srp .. but thats the point of the extra power .. to make up for the smaller box ... it moved maybe 1/4 inch off my bd1000 .. now maybe 1/2 inch without clipping on 1 2200d .. sowe shall see what she does if I get a good check next week I might order my wiring and toolmaker goods but itll be next month before I get to order ther batteries

Build over the rear seats. That's what I did in my 00 hatch

subwoofers - two eclipse 88120s

box - 3.4 cubes tuned to 32 hz

amps - aq1200 and pheonix gold zx450

New build :

2 obsidian audio 15s

same amp

6.1 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz in a civic hatch
