Ratski Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 Right now I only have one hdc3-15 but I have a sixth order blow thru design in the works now my question is this I was going to run the aq2200 for my single 15 now when we do the blow thru it's going to be 2 15s should I get the aq3500 and just keep the gain down or stay with the 2200 and push it to the limit?

Enjoy the bass, I'll bet that setup will pound if you build the enclosure right. I hear sixth orders are kinda hard to build? Ratski Posted February 3, 2013 Author Report Posted February 3, 2013 Double post fail.. ha im good at post fails. um yea the 6th order crap is confusing to me at times, my box guy feels confident about it. its for a double cab toyota tacoma. right now i have 4cubes sittin on my back seat all ghetto like ha. the blow thru box should be between 7-8 cubes. but yea with that 3500 and the pair of hdc i think they will be ok. i have heard they can take more than they are rated but... how much is too much you know

Ratski Posted February 3, 2013 Author Report Posted February 3, 2013 I'm almost sure the 3500 puts out 4300@1ohm Yea my idea is just to look down the road I was just planning on keeping the gain down till I get that #2 in there and then turn it up a little. Now even with two hdc3-15 think the 3500 will be too much for them
