Should I Get This Instead Of A Router?

Recommended Posts

Just go to. or have somebody go to Harbor freight and get you a cheap plunge router. It'll save you a bunch of headaches. I've tried cutting holes with stuff like linked. Yes it'll work, but it's a lot more than needed.

yup i love my porter cable too. just hate changing the bases and bits back and forth. trying to find a used or cheap one with the same motor.

thats why i own 2 routers soon to be 3.....i hate changing bits. Third one will probably be mounted to a table though....

this is something me and my cousin have been wondering he started this thread. when you round over the corners of boxes and the port and other stuff do you do the roundover then assemble or assemble then roundover?

thats what we concerned about. it would probably be a 3/4 roundover we would use a round over. what would happen if we hit a nail we would be using a brad nailer to assemble
