TXbass713 Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 I'm going to be selling my 06 Cadillac CTS and looking into buying an Acura TL. My current system is -Fi BL 15 -Hifonics 1600 -Kenwood DDX418 head unit - secondary Kinetic Battery (Can't remember how many watts) - 2 Dynomat bulk packs in the trunk Now Im looking into buying 2 18" Fi SP4's and wall them in the acura. Also the Big 3 upgrade, a 320amp DC alternator, either 2 (3500) Crescendo amps or 2 (2200) Audioque. If I was to get the Crescendo 3500s how many extra batteries would I need? And how many batteries for the Audioque 2200s? The SP4's are rated at 3000 watt rms so obviously I would prefer the 3500s but it depends my budget also if I was to get the 2200s would it be a problem since the sub is 3000RMS? This is my first post and thanks for the help!
Noel989 Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 Why not get a sub closer to the amp ratings? If you go with aq Build Log - http://www.stevemead...-cruiser-el-pt/
TXbass713 Posted February 11, 2013 Author Report Posted February 11, 2013 Good question, just wanted high rms lol. The BTL N2s are 2000rms so I'll go with those if I get the audioques. How many batteries do you think I would need for either set up?
wmrcs Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 For the 3500's I'd have maybe 4 D3100's. Pretty much when it comes to electrical just beef it up as much as your wallet can manage. Depends on where you want your voltage to be too. E34 540iT/6
