Watch the bass Posted February 18, 2013 Report Share Posted February 18, 2013 The only thing that makes me wonder is that the amp is fused with 120 amp´s. The rule by thump for 1 Ohm ratings is 10 amp´s = 100 watt RMS. To no the fusing is usefull for to know if the amp do rated. Idk if the math say´s 2000 watt @ 0,5 Ohm by 120 amps of fusing. Pioneerchuck Posted February 18, 2013 Report Share Posted February 18, 2013 In a perfect world with 100% efficiency using right exactly 120A, I believe you come up with something around 1,700W. In a perfect world of course. So with resistance and amp efficiency I would say at 80% efficient your probably looking at maybe 1,300W and that is of course with the amp pulling right at 120A.
