What would be the best size woofer to go with in a one sub system in a little 95 civic? Also, how would one sub perform compared to two, given equal wattage and ohms? One 15 vs two 12s? One 12 vs 2 12s? One 12 vs two 10s? Anybody who's had these types of systems lets hear it

18"

edit: its impossible to tell you if X will be louder than Y. generally (and i mean very general) more cone area will yield moar loud. but then you run into factors such as the amount of motor force, watts, acoustics, etc etc.

If I where to go single subwoofer, get a 18 if you can fit it, if not a 15. As far as multiple subs, get the most cone area as you can fit in box volume.

Space isn't too much of an issue, right now I've got two 15s in the backseat. I just want to go to one sub so I have enough room for a passenger in the back
