Car cuts off when driving ..

Recommended Posts

could be vacuum related....maybe vac line clogged or disconnected..... dont know a whole lot about those cars. definitly check air filter. check idle air control valve- from what i have learned about the iacv (idle air control valve) when you go from park into gear its supposed to compensate by raising the throttle slightly by adding more air into the intake. these are known on about every car to get sticky and stop doing its job. its also there for cold starts.

i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it

Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit. If I had a whole Hertz front stage my ears would jizz all over my cheeks.

could be a o2 sensor, crank sensor, . cars with ecu's when you shift it out of gear they will let off the throttle and readjust the rpm. during this process yours is stalling. If your near 120k on the engine i would check the timing belt first as this will destroy your engine. check for codes !!!
