fx4trucker Posted February 16, 2013 Report Share Posted February 16, 2013 it is time for a rebuild .. i am replace my mtx 8500 15" that i had for 8 years with a rockford fosgate t2 15" .. there is nothing wrong with the mtx . it has been a grate woofer and ive had it in 3 cars now .. its just time to go bigger and better .. i think i paid 550 for it back in the day and i got my new t2 for 419 thanks to audio savings .. i couldnt be more happier .. i will be running 1 for now and ill get the 2nd later .i am keep the same box i had the mtx in .. its 5 or 6 cuft tuned to 36hz . sounds really good..for this new build ill be running mostly all fosgate except fot the amps which will be audio que .i will be running 3 sets of the t2 6.5 comp. and maybe 2 sets of the t2 5 1/4 comp. but dont know if i want a rear ch. yet .also 2 p3 shallow 8" subs in the kicks for mid basshere some old pics of where im at now .. i started the build in 2010 when i saw steve meade do his tahoe rebuild and i was hooked..current speakersthe a pillersrealm audio 600 watt 4chand the new wooferside by sidewell there will b more updates tomorrow . alpine head unit (freebee 2009 model)2 sets of eclpise 5.25 comp. speakers. 1. set is in the a-pilors 1. memphis mojo 2500 watt amp 1. rockford fosgate t2 15" dual 2 ohm wired to 4 ohm . seeing 600 watts 1. realm audio 600 watt 4ch Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
