Guest Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 I was looking at a SA-10 from Sundown audio. But any suggestions for a subwoofer? Or opinion about the SA-10? I would love to go with a ported box, I have only had sealed in my cars. i was thinking you could go with that woofer, yeah. it was the first reasonably priced one that popped into my head when thinking about sealed boxes. but those work better in ported, of course haha.
psychoapple Posted February 18, 2013 Author Report Posted February 18, 2013 I watched a few videos of people running them, mostly 2 10"s or 12's. But they seem like they bang. I was looking for a loud sub but not sacrifice a lot of the SQ.

Knowing your amp says 1000 max it's more than likely 500 rms or less. All in all you can't expect to buy a new woofer and expect dramatic results in difference. A speaker is a speaker. If the powers the same and the box is the same...
